Where it comes from...

- I am a self taught artist. For years I've played in just about every artistic playground available, be it photography, painting, drawing, sewing... I try to satisfy my thirst for more! My family has always worked with their hands in a creative manner. My father was an artist and master craftsman, as was his father before him. Dad did nose and jacket art during World War II, and after, built amazing wood doll furniture. Grandpa painted in oils on just about anything he could get his hands on. His miniature paintings done over 50 years ago, are ACEO size - how funny is that. Mom made anything look easy. From her I learned to "play" - toy with anything long enough and you will end up loving it! When I was young, Mom made almost all of my clothes. My brother John is an amazing, self taught chef. My sister, Lesley is my idol... you all know her as "Lesley's Loft" on ebay, Etsy and Zazzle. She is my daily inspiration. I've married an amazing man - whose talents are innumerable. Ah, and no surpise... his family are all artists in their own right, too! Hmmm... maybe I should write About Me descriptions more often, if only to count my blessings.
